Hey Travis! After watching your first elevator pitch, I noticed you didn't talk much about statistics and the use of numbers, like it was discussed during one of the lectures this week. This was the same issue I had with my first elevator pitch. Maybe including the number of students that are hit by cars nationally and how your idea could help reduce this this number. This idea could even potentially spark a petition to have ideas like yours implemented into other university's across the nation to keep students both driving and walking safe.
Hi Travis! The set up for your elevator pitch was really nice! I liked how you dressed up and even found a spot with the Gator logo. You spoke clearly and slowly which made the information easy for the audience to understand. However, definitely don't be afraid to make it a little more casual/fun and loosen up! It'll make the viewer more engaged. I also agree with Zackary how some statistics would've helped me visualize the current problem.
Hi Travis, I really enjoyed listening to your elevator pitch. You made it very clear and got straight to the point without getting off topic or saying anything unnecessary. Even without certain statistics, I think it is still a very solid pitch that can convince the school to make a move. If I were a construction company manager and I heard this presentation, I would definitely want to jump on board with this project.
Hey Travis, I think you executed this assignment pretty well. It was effective how you dressed u and set yourself up in a setting that is professional. I agree with what was stated by the others, that placing in more stats may have made this elevator pitch more effective, but I think that it was a good job! Traffic accidents are a big focal point so this idea would work.
Hi Travis, I thought your delivery was the best that I have watched. You also have dressed the most professionally out of all the videos that I have watched. I could not agree more that traffic is the biggest problem we have on campus. I think your small bridge idea is a great because it would improve the way students moved around campus. James
