1.) https://youtu.be/d_MdrYnjLtE
2.) After reviewing the feedback from my first elevator pitch, I learned that I needed to be a little more relaxed in my presentation so that it looks like I am having fun and very interested in what I have to offer. I also realized that the presentation of statistics in my pitch could make the overall effectiveness much better as it makes people really start to think about how my opportunity could impact them. I found it important that people recognized how professionally I dressed and presented myself because this is essential for establishing my credibility.
3.) The difference between this elevator pitch and the last pitch is that I was able to utilize statistics this time to make the pitch more effective. After researching more about college students and their tendencies to get in accidents because of distracted driving, I decided to present these statistics so that viewers will be captivated to hear what I am saying. I also tried to act more relaxed in this elevator pitch, but I know that it could still use some more help.
Hi Travis! After reviewing your second elevator pitch, I think you clearly explained your opportunity and made a strong statement for your viewers and future investors to listen to. I would only give some simple advice that maybe next time bring the camera closer to you so the viewers can't see that you are wearing shorts with a suit jacket. I did like how we could see most of you, since we could see you using hand gestures and movements and not standing like a stiff rock (like most people struggle doing) and it allows you to have relaxed abilities with public speaking.
ReplyDeleteHey, Travis! I appreciate how you worked on being more relaxed and engaged in the audience and what you're selling. You also added more statistics and facts which draws people into your idea. I agree with Zackary above as your suit jacket looked a little weird; too business on top and casual on bottom. Definitely move the camera closer and at eye level if possible. It makes the elevator pitch look at little more natural!
ReplyDeleteHi Travis,
ReplyDeleteI really liked how you started off your elevator pitch with some key facts and statistics that your audience needed to hear. I think you used these perfectly as your introduction, and I really liked how you said them before introducing yourself and what your product is. It had a very smooth flow to it, and it definitely grabbed my attention.
Hey Travis, I think you did a good job with the second elevator pitch. I think that you looked more relaxed and prepared with more stats to use. I liked how you opened with a stat and then went into your introduction. That is something I will use in the future. This idea would be useful for a lot of people so I think that a lot of people would be interested in hearing your pitch and your opportunity. Good Job!
